Our Birthday Girl
I can't believe our baby is 5 years old today! It seems like yesterday, well maybe not yesterday, but not too long ago we brought her home to giggles and squeals from her big sister. I remenber the room spinning as I realize I now had two little ones. Despite all the planning it still didn't sink into my brain until they were both looking at each other face to face in our living room. I was wondering how I was going to take care of two kids that want me at the same time. Luckily, Olivia was made to be a big sister and she loved to help. She even taught me a thing or two about being patient and that things don't have to be perfect. We have made it through so far and it won't be long before I'll look back on this milestone and ponder where did the time go. Here are some pictures of our birthday girl! We love you Elaina! Enjoy!

That makes me teary eyed! Seeing her baby pic with little Olivia, and remembering that trip when we came to meet newborn Elaina. (sigh) It seems like a long time ago to me, I guess because so much has happened since then. She was so cute and tiny, I remember holding her in the sunlight at your backdoor, soaking in that sweet, itty bitty babiness. I hope ya'll had a great day yesterday!
Ditto what shelley said. It seems like so long ago and so far away even though she's now five in the blink of an eye.
